Nazi Berlin
In 1933, the Nazis seized power in Germany. It was Hitler’s dream to turn “red Berlin“– a city dominated by the left – into “Germania“, the pompous capital of a fascist Europe. Only twelve years later, Berlin was a smoking pile of rubble. This tour will show you what remains of Berlin’s darkest years. It includes the vast “Ministry of Airfare“, the headquarters of the SS death squads and the Gestapo secret police, the Holocaust Memorial and several other sites.
